New Black Roc

Post by motorman »

The Roc arrived home last week (build week 13) but this is the first chance to upload any details. First job was to fit flaps and check underneath to see if it was all screwed together OK. Going to give it a good run on Sunday up to Stanford Hall VW show. Only faults on delivery were the gear gaiter coming away from the frame and front number plate fitted on pi**ed. Will be sorted at dealer soon (not holding breath on this). :(

What are the ramps under the front wheels you are using in the first photo? Any web link for them?

Thanks

Well I've had it since 1976, it used to have the number plate 1 MOB before I bought it and came from East London. I think if they tried to do a getaway it it they would have been caught very quickly as it used to break down and fall apart at the drop of a balaclava.

Have a look at CJ Autos web site http://www.cjautos.site90.net/newprod.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more info. They do quite a few lifting products.

Just to let you know, the ramps might not be suitable if you have lowered the suspension as there is only about 25mm clearance at the bottom of the spoiler to roll on and off.
