Italian Candycashmere

Post by evantheiv »

After months of Imageing on others-people-roccos-pics
I finally ordered (yesterday morning) my candy 1.4 TSI with cachemire catch-up interiors and 18" interlagos.
I wonder how long is it gonna take? : (
Ciao from Milano
P.S. I pick the occasion to make compliments for this forum, so much better than any other italian one.

how can i post pics WITHOUT HER :sadbanana:

order date: 12th April 2010

dealer told me 60 to 90 days but
basing on what i've read in the forums it's gonna take 2 months just to start assembling it and 1 month again for the deliver
so.. sounds more like 90+ than 60

am i wrong? :sadbanana:

A month to deliver??? wheres it going to..

I've been told 2-3 weeks (last week), hopefully more likely 2. Well I think the idea normally is that people post once they've got the car rather than when they order it. But I look forward to seeing yours, particularly the interior...

I know what you mean the waiting is a killer... I think I've spent the last 2 months boring my family and friends with random scirocco facts lol. They just don't get it. But hopefully this next two week will fly by :D

as i under stand the delivery time after the car is build is move based on the day your car rolls off the asembly line in relation to the next ship leaving.. and i think the ships go about once a fortnight, so you can be lucky and if ya car rolls of on the tuesday and a ship is leaving on then wednesady you can get the car in a matter of days not weeks, but if your unlucky and the ship left on the monday your car may be waiting around for up to 2 weeks till the next ship comes along a fortnight later. i think ive read here that a good guide is allow 2-4 weeks after the end of your build week

ordered my rocco 26th March... est build week 24 (w/c 14th June) so im kinda expecting it some time mid july :) although my dealer has quoted me mid Aug :(
