well on my old Revo stage 1 GTI i never ran more than 1.4 bar (21psi) of boost.
I'm not sure the K03 can manage more than 2 bar boost really.
BUT i might be misinterpreting the numbers and need to take 1 bar off those numbers (normal atmospheric pressure starts at 1 bar u see) so you'd be only hitting 1.1 bar actually (which makes more sense to be honest as a mates BF S1 GTI hits 1.1 bar)
but still the drop off at 4.5k still exists. The problem was never resolved. Its more hardware than software but have u spoken to Superchips about this? Maybe they need to give u an update file that fixes this (i know one guy had exactly this "hole" on his ED30 GTI on a RR day running BF S1)
Yeah I did read that you do need to deduct around 1 bar to compensate. I haven't spoken to Superchips. Not sure if any update has been done on the Bluefin. Havent spoken to them about it as I've only really started investigating.
If my car has the older DV valve could these figures point to a burst diaphram as shown in Wigits first post?
LOL! I dont even know what a HPFP is! I've basically done nothing other than the remap. Only now that im looking at going a bit further. Eyeing up a carbonio kit just now.
The car doesnt drive like it has a problemn to be honest. This thread just got me thinking and I decided to have a look. It doesn't feel as fast as it used to but to be honest I'm starting to think that I'm just used to it now.
Maybe I should have explained about the logs before. I basically started logging then drove. So it was right through the rev range in all gears. I then basically chopped out the data from the logs using different points in the rev range, so each is in various gears. Maybe that could account for the discrepancy in my table and there's nothing wrong at all?
Sorry if I'm leading folk on a wild goose chase here! Like I say this is all new to me. I'm working on info that I've cobbled together across the net.
Would you recommend that I change the DV valve anyway? Taking into account a Carbonio kit may be added?
I was under the impression that the engine that was in the Mk5 Golf was the same 2.0 TFSI one that was in the Audi TT. MY TT's engine was definitely different to the one in the Scirocco.
Hmmm well the figs r useless anyway as it's an amalgamation of various gears. Need to log a single pull in 4th really to see a true picture of how the engine picks up under load

Absolutely
Do a few pulls from low RPM in 4th to the redline (on a private test track of course)
The 'Roc 2.0TSi 200PS is very different to the Golf V GTi, TT TFSi, Leon Fr etc engine. It is the EA888 engine just with 200PS rather than the now 210PS.
Having previously had a Leon TFSi it is quite a different engine both in how it performs and how it sounds......
It looks about right. You are requesting and basically meeting the required pressures - which also seem in line with a remap (1.1bar at peaks). This doesnt mean that you have no boost leak but odds are you dont. If you want to be 100% sure you must also log block 114-4 to see what the N75 valve is doing. for a full explanation see here, as I had issues with a remap and was worried that I had a boost leak when stock.
The scirocco engines are VERY different than the GTI 5 engines.. to whoever said that you must get your facts straight. The old GTI = EA113 engine, the scirocco 200/210ps are EA888 engines.
Edit: Looks like a stage 1 remap adds about .4bar boost. Remember if you look at my logs in that thread you have to deduct 850mbar to get to my actual boost instead of the 1bar you would deduct seeing that you are at sea level (im at 1500m altitude).
i know there are 2 engines...never knew the EA888 came out in 200ps form. thought it was 210ps and that the Roc "might" have had the old EA113 200ps version at the beginning.
never mind.
i know f all about cars really and just talk out of back side most of the time.
