headlamp washers not working

headlamp washers not working
noticed today that my headlamp washers are not working any ideas what could cause this
Neuspeed P-Flo Kit APR stage 1 remap

Obvious, have you checked the fuse?
In the driver's side dash end fuse panel, fuse 36, 20amps - 5th row from top, 4th fuse from front of the car.
Check your Tips & Maintenance booklet manual in case it's different to mine. (If a post Wk45/09 Scirocco, there isn't a fuse guide)

sorted it didnt realise that the lights had to be on for the washers to work

Also i think they possibly only work with every 5th spray of the washers or something i think i heard mentioned?

Yeah according to the manual every 1st and 5th time, will not work when set to 0, however will still work if you only have the sidelights on.
I have blown the fuse in the past when there was snow built up, forgot to wipe it off from the sensors - best not to use it in cold temperatures too as it freezes and locks out of position until the ice melts away.
