Re: Pewter Grey 2.0 GT - Now with added (ultra)lows & splits
I was thinking of getting black alloys for my pewter but wasn't sure, these pics have just made up my mind. Where did you get yours from robmx if you don't mind me asking??

I got mine second hand and refurbished them. They're a discontinued wheel, so that's the only way you'll get a set unfortunately.sonofhob wrote:I was thinking of getting black alloys for my pewter but wasn't sure, these pics have just made up my mind. They look good.
I found it a nightmare sorting wheels for the Scirocco, I wasn't sure they Rials would work until I got them on.

Been a while since I updated this thread, so, since the last time, I've lowered it a bit more, deleted the rear wiper and painted the badges black.

So that's it for now apart from a BSH intake to fit when it warms up enough.

Absolutely ages since I've been on here, so I figured I should refresh my thread.

Also found enough spare cash to fit a Scorpion Non-Res Cat Back that I had powdercoated gloss black and a BSH Race intake, which I didn't have the chance to photograph.
Remap next and maybe some new wheels -_-

Top man. Love it as always. Your paint looks wet

stunning as usual Rob, the black exhaust tips look just right against the pewter.

Yeah, simple enough, but if I'm honest, I've not done the best of jobs and the finish is a bit rubbish up close.
All I did was rough up the chrome with some wet and dry, then a few coats of plastic primer, then a few coats of gloss black.
