Tracking... HOW MUCH!!!

Post by lewisdtaylor »

Unfortunately and inevitably, me and the roc managed to fall into a dirty great pot hole yesterday. As a result the tracking now seems to be adrift by a few centimeters.

Spoke to my dealer today who wanted £69 + VAT to sort it!!! (Thought this was a little high)

After some serious arm twisting, managed to get him down to £50 inc vat.

Is it just me, or does this seem awfully expensive for a relatively simple job??

Think the Rocco has four wheel tracking. If so then that price is about right.

I have had it done for £45 before down at micheldever, i believe there is a tyre place in maidenhead who do it for a similar price - i wouldn't pay any more than that although I got quoted £200 once :eyepop:

hang about - i am thinking of wheel alignment not tracking. not sure how much tracking would be but i cant believe it would cost a lot.

Well say if you had a car with torsion bar/beam setup at the back its not a adjustable as far as the tracking goes. So it would only be the front two that can be setup.
