Side window heating. . . . How?

Post by Jay_Boy »

Does anyone know when the rear side window heating elements are activated and with what switch?
Is it with the rear window elements as when I do that I don't see a change! Is mine broken? :(

Those elements are for the radio areal and not heaters. Your car is fine. The shark fin on the roof is for the GPS only so in cars without navi it's just a dummy.

Well I be damned! I didn't know that!
Is there a reason then that there are slightly more on the passenger side than the driver side windows? Would that be a reason for less tint also on the passenger side? Seems strange but I'm not sure why the rear window tints and elements are different each side?? Help anyone?

I'm guessing here but I suspect one side is for FM radio and the other for DAB.
As regards the tints - on which side of the car was the sun shining :D

Ha, the first time I read that I kinda ignored the full stop and thought it was some sort Mr T thing going on... "That's right fools"

I didn't realise the normal ariel was in the window too... Is the shark fin just there to cover the hole in the roof? well unless you have GPS..

The sun was shining outa the arse on my car as it does with all Rocs right?
Great info on the arial thing guys, thanks.

I started a new thread on the tint issue as I really was unsure. I have had a reply to say one lad has the same colour and one here saying they're different! :? The forum stickers really show it so lets check and report back. . . . .go!
