Women Drivers!
Today i saw a classic act of female driving. This woman drove all the way round a roundabout in the outside lane causing this poor bloke to emergency stop on the roundabout. The fella went (quite rightly) nuts at her ....she just looked at him gormless .
I think women drivers should have to take a far more stringent test than men. They lack spacial awareness for definate and just generally don't seem cut out for driving on roads. Sure men are involved in more accidents. That's not my point. Men who drive badly mostly drive badly on purpose.....women who drive badly (most of them), drive badly cos it comes naturally to them.
I know a lot of women drivers....there's only 2 i would willingly get in car with.....the others are quite simply shocking .

Re: Women Drivers!
My pet hate is people who don't know which lane to be in to take the correct exit on a roundabout.
There is one particular roundabout that lots of drivers get wrong and end up driving around the outside to take the 3rd exit leaving you stuck on the inside.
Its not just women and I was cut up one day by an ambulance doing the above, they are professional drivers and still get it wrong.

I have no time for sexist, arrogant and ignorant idiots! They usually turn out to be the worst drivers!

Re: Women Drivers!
Bit of advice. If it's meant to be tongue in cheek try using some smilies which make it clear that you're being funny (or trying to be).roccosiffredi wrote:The Interceptor wrote:I hate sexist, arrogant and ignorant knobs far more! They usually turn out to be the worst drivers!

PS Edited my post because I thought that maybe I was being a bit harsh, but obviously not!

The post was meant to be a bit light hearted....to get a bit of banter going. Some folk have no sense of humour. A bit up themselves. Oh well i'll put the kettle on and have a nice cuppa

Re: Women Drivers!
And who said mysogyny was dead?
The worst drivers on the road are clearly 50mph driving, middle lane owing, phone wedged to lughole, white van drivers who, more often than not, are oblivious to the frustrated lorry driver six inches off their bumper brigade. All male, obviously. Closely followed by school run mums, teenage girls in Lupos who have no idea what the inside lane is for, the M5 summertime caravan brigade (no, there's no way you're going to be able to overtake each other at 50 and 51mph respectively whilst going uphill, you retards) and very obviously, BMW drivers.

I agree with all, except for the BMW bit.Deb wrote:And who said mysogyny was dead?

Re: Women Drivers!
It does read a bit sexist dude, but i'm sure you don't mean it in that way.....
Tbh, i have the same issue with people who stereotype drivers of other brands.
I've had Beemers for years and my driving style doesnt fit any of those typicals that you see posted here or anywhere else.
I'm sure there are plenty of crap male roc drivers out there!

Re: Women Drivers!
The bigest problem with drivers where I live, is people who do 40 everywhere regardless of the speed limit! Like if its 60 they do 40? At first I thought they were just nervous or overly cautious but then when I've seen the same people do 40 through a 20 zone by a school with kids running about I really don't get it???
