i have a new 2010 scirocco 2.0 TSI.
and from time to time i get this icon on the bottom left corner of the screen. you know the gauge with the arrow.
sorry for the big image size
does anyone know what it means?
all i can think about is the RPM gauge not to take it more than 3000?

Maybe the phone wont work once you go above a certain speed.
I have the my2009 interior and i dont have this issue. btw etisalat company is in which country?
deadsoul - its the "cruise control is on" symbol...
a car would never tell you to "please could you keep the revs down a bit". if the engine needed to limit revs, you wouldn't have a say in the matter, it would just knock into limp mode.

it also turns green ( i think there is another cruise control logo in the speedo) when its active.
this white logo means its on stanby, i.e. just after you press the breaks. if you turn it off completely, via that little switch on top of the left stalk, the total milage will show instead.
