Possible next company car??

Post by DDtB »

Hi folks...

Currently becoming increasingly tempted by the GT TDI 170 Scirocco for my next company car. Would obviously prefer the R... but the Diesel fits the company requirements...

Just running the numbers just now to see if it's actually possible with my current car allowance.

Anyone suggest where the best place to find a decent 3-5 year PCP or HP deal is just now?

Cheers!

Dave.

Hi,

Sorry can't comment on best place to get one, but I would say they are GREAT for a company car. Plenty of room, look fantastic, still have a boot and drives well. Pop it in comfort on the motorway and its ideal.

I am sure someone else will pop up with a suggestion for PCP or HP!

Hello,

I've just ordered a GT TDI 170(with parking sensors, electric wing mirrors and metallic paint) on a NHS PCP scheme (http://www.northumbria.nhs.uk/car/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), it works out at £315 a month (and includes tax, insurance, sevicing etc.).

I guess its no good if you don't work for the NHS but it might give you some rough figures to think about, hope this helps,

Thanks,

Colin.

That's seems like a pretty good deal Colin.

Shame I don't work for the NHS ... :(

For the 2.0 TSI DSG, Candy White with Leather and a few other options I am paying £400 PCM including insurance, maintain and spare parts (eg tyres). It's about tax neutral as the BIK on the car is offset by the tax saved on the gross salary discount. So overall £400 is great, especially as insurance for me is difficult because of age.

Hmmm... this might be possible after all.

Think I'll be looking for the GT TDI 170 DSG ideally. With leather, phone prep and as many toys as I can get for under £450 per month, doing a max of about 18-20k per annum (averaged 17k over the last 2 years)

Gotta be the diesel I reckon, unless of course you can tell me I'll get 35mpg+ out of the 2.0 TSI or R !! lol

Cheers!

Dave.
