Basic(ish) Rising blue R in stock

Post by spamdog »

Popped back in to VW in Bath today as I had to book mine in for a few annoying little bits ...and there was a rising blue R sat in the showroom down there!
No price on it, was a manual and no leather interior so I think it may of been a lowish spec on the car.
No price tag either so it may possibly be a demo that they can't sell for 6 months and don't want to drive it to put any mileage on.
So if anyone is interested in going for a peek!

Mines going in because the steering wheel is slightly off centre. I havn't kerbed it and no signs of pre delivery clouts. I think they put the wheel on in a hurry in the factory although I thought it was not possible. Perhaps the robot had been on the sauce. Apart from that no problems yet. WHAT CAR review was a bit poor but AUTO EXPRESS +. Another thread talked about cornering lights. I checked mine and there are angled bulbs that come on when turning left and right.

Tiny scratch on the underside of front bumper that I noticed on delivery, Sellotape left on the inside of back windows. Even tho it should of been cleaned and the brakes are sqealing/squeaking in slow moving traffic.

Just silly annoying things ...but the car is great and I'm loving the decision to buy one!
