It was a strange one for me too. They leasing company I have went through called and said " Craig, Black or Silver?" I said I hope its Blue since that's what I bloody ordered! He then explained he was talking about the wheel finish. He said this was the first time his VW dealer has offered him the option with the Scirocco. He was also baffled by it since he didn't have it listed as an official option.GTI2RocR wrote: officially its not an option so no idea how the other chap's dealer is asking that question!

I hope for you guys that they've just got the cans of paint mixed up and not the actual wheels as the golf r ones are a narrower offset I believe -50 if I remember correctly!

Can I ask the name of the firm you are leasing with please?
Need to start looking at prices for the R on a lease deal.

No problem, Leasing4U. This will be the first I have used them but so far have been pretty easy to deal with. Them and Nationwide Vehicle Contracts had the best prices for Sciroccos.

haha I though they were the same size, looks like it was just a muppet some where in the order process theory is confirmed. a 50 Offset on the golf makes sense as that is what the MKV R32 isCandy Monster wrote:I hope for you guys that they've just got the cans of paint mixed up and not the actual wheels as the golf r ones are a narrower offset I believe -50 if I remember correctly!
