I bought a ELM327 adapter and connect my laptop with my scirocco 1.4tsi and performed the "drag strip" test in PCMSCAN software. Here are the results.

can you specify where you bought the ELM327 and for how much ?
btw - can you read all the values with the ELM? does it support the CANBUS data and not just the OBD2 ?

Bought it on our local C2C site for about $40.
I can see data including RPM, vehicle speed, several temperatures sensors, oxygen sensors, throttle positions etc.
I also bought a BlueTooth version which is bit more expensive.

I'm going to develop a Pocket PC app to show these values in a cool way.
I can see data including RPM, vehicle speed, several temperatures sensors, oxygen sensors, throttle positions etc.
