Test fitted my winter rims on a friends Scirocco. Looks like I will need a 20 mm adapter on the rear. 10x18 ET 45 fits well

At least one of you will like the Scirocco Cross look I've got going for this winter. In the front, I have 65 mm more treads left on the coilovers now
Fronts are 8x18 ET 57 with 15 mm adapter, rears are 10x18 ET 65 with 20 mm adapters

How is your inner clearance?
Enough space between the struts and the wheels for the moment?
I want some H&R ultra lows too, the ride is okay?

The ride is good, especialy now in winter mode, almost like stock. I'm lowered around 35-45 mm now I guess. More than 5mm clearance on the rears, loads on the fronts. With the RS GT's I have a little less than one finger betwen strut and rim

Your BBS rims look awesome PC. Once you get them back on can you get another pic from the same angle as the one where you have a red shirt on (without you in this time - sorry! lol) i think it's the best angle for your car. Splits are an interesting choice for the winter, you must not get as much salt on your roads as we do!

I'll see if I can remember to take the pictures in 4-5 months when I switch back. As for salt, we probably get more. Just have to wash the car more often I guess. I consider painting the dish to save the alloyCandy Monster wrote:Your BBS rims look awesome PC. Re: Rising Blue, Ultra-Lows and 9,5x20 BBS RS-GT
Have you test fitted the OZ futuras allready?
I'm looking at some 11" wide porsche wheels but i'm a bit scared that they won't fit.
So seeing your 10.5" would be a big help!
Got the H&R UltraLow on it since yesterday and indeed, it drives great!

Re: Rising Blue, Ultra-Lows and 9,5x20 BBS RS-GT
11's sure will be hard. I'm now running 10's ET 45 after the adapter, and it is about flush with the fender. 10's ET 48-50 some where depending on tyre stretch will fit. I'm sure I could fit my rears with just a 15 mm adapter, and not the 20 mm in there now. Still waiting for some spacers to fit the futuras, as they are both ET 55. From memory, you have around 4 mm to clear the strut with 9 ET 46 on the front. Do the math
