What was your initial thoughts on it?
Much difference from the normal roc or not really noticeable?

I understand what you mean........ but most owners won`t see their car until they are gleaming anyway. I, personally, would only care if everyone was sitting it, or revving the engine etc etc. It is good news that scirocco Rs are arriving at UK dealers already  Really looking forward to seeing the pics if you are able to take some.

do you think it'll be easy to get that R badge off the front grille / back boot?

i want it debadged really. don't understand why they didn't allow the model inscription delete option for the R when its allowed on the normal rocs.

the reaar badge will be easy to come off, im guessing the front one will be clipped on, maybe removing the upper grill at the most to remove it, simple job

Morning Folks :)

Surely that's a demonstrator?
Was the official 'R' order book open long enough for a customer to have ordered their car, then go through all the usual VW build stage rigmarole, and manage to get their car delivered for mid-January?

I still haven't even had an estimated build week out of VW and my order went in the very same day that VW officially started taking orders

But I must confess I was fully expecting this to be a very frustrating purchase, and I've actually now psyched myself up for a June delivery. Anything sooner will be a bonus!

My dealer is anticipating Build Week 3, so who knows, I might get an email next week, but I'm not going to hold my breath :eyepop:

Best Regards
