Hi All

Ordered 31/08 - just had confirmed build week 4 - so hoping can get before 28/02 so to save the 2.5% as not too bothered about new reg - may just stick a private plate on - soooo looking forward to my first drive :) :)

hi Leanne

I am not sure what to do about the 59 or 10 question......

On one hand I really want it now as it's been 5 months wait, but also given that I have waited 5 months already, another couple of weeks won't hurt.....

As to the vat increase I am not too bothered, as i would be able to pay the extra £500 or so easily once I have been paid at the end of feb 8)

So I am not sure what to do :? Not much help am I??!!!

haha you sound as confused as me! Although i'm gonna get a 10 :) I've picked up a new car on new reg day before and i love it!

If there is a "R" in Hong Kong, I might not get it at all....since Hong Kong is too small to drive~ Step down on accelerator for 0.5 secs, and is time to think when you should press the brake~ haha....
But I would love to see they have in Australia...but it appears it will never happen :(

Hi new on here.....

I ordered mine on the 21st November and my build week is week 5 so by my guess with 3 weeks to ship, PDI, and 2 week conversion I should have it by mid March.....

...I hope

Had word today my car is Production Complete and awaiting shipment.

Should be here by the end of the month :)

I thought the lease firm might hang on for the new reg but apparently not, and I don't care anymore I just want my new car.

My mkV Gti has just racked up 80k, been MOT'd in October and is in for it's final (hopefully) service next week.

Not too sure to be honest chuck.

It's a leased company car and the dealers aren't too good at giving much away. I'd love to be able to tarck it but I've not got any build details.

All I've managed to find out since the order went in last September was a rough date and that's it. I got an email before chrimbo saying around February but I chased them up today and I got the good news.

As my current mkV Gti is now running over the orginal lease I expect they'll be pushed to get it on the road a.s.a.p. I'd like a 10 plate but I'd rather have the car sooner.

VW customer services just told me that my car has now gone from estimated to 'confirmed' build week 6. Ordered 2 December so if they can get it over here and ready to go by mid-March am probably looking at 15 weeks end to end (if am lucky) -- so not too bad a wait.

Just been told my car ordered on 8th January has a week 9 build, so it should be ready for collection in late March. Not too bad.

Hi All

My build week is 4 - rang VW CS on Monday 10am and the nice lady said the Roc was at check point 3 and should be on a boat by next Monday - my dealer gives me no info - does anyone think this may mean my Roc maybe in the UK early next week ie actually in the UK during week 4 ?

Not long to go :)

Nice one PIP39, I know we were going to compare our build weeks as were ordered around the same time and you were told BW4 and I was BW5 so hopefully mine will be the same as yours and get here earlier than expected!

VW CS have confirmed all built and waiting at the docks and should be on 28th boat - that make mine a week early - hope others are brought forward as well :)

Mine is confirmed as build WK5, so should be with me, with any luck, for the 1st March. If it arrives earlier I am hanging on until then anyway for a 10 plate, but, if so, it will be tough knowing it is sat there waiting for me at the dealers :)
I can rely on my car, it's my Roc!!!
