I think it may be on 18" wheels hence the big gap. Would look better on 19" wheels.
as widgit said above, the 19" are indeed bigger but you run 35 profile tyres on them instead of the 40 profiles on the 18" so same overall diameter.
I will lower mine on lowering spring as soon as they are available or confirmed to be the same ones as a standard rocco. (Or some KW coilovers if the ACC isnt any good)

its an illusion, if you have larger rims it looks like they take up more space but as you say anankin they have low profile tyres so actually don't.

has anyone found any better pics of the black one???? I have changed my colour from blue to black, but am worried its going to look the same as the gt, i.e the gloss styling not standing out

Sorry, not a Scirocco R, but a Golf R in black with silver 19" alloys:

Me too... and glad I've gone for the black rims too (it's a Golf R).

I think black will look better in the flesh, hard to see its lines with all the shiny reflections in the show room.

they could have put some decent seats in it too, im not sold on the R TBH styling looks awesome but thats about it
