Dashboard rattle...
I love my Roc... but there is an annoying rattle beneath the dashboard. It seems to come from near the steering column. I want to have a look to see if I can find the naughty wire that is causing it. Any idea how I might get to it and what tools I might need? (I will start my exploring on the panels at the top of the drivers side footwell beneath the steering column).

Thanks trix... I have applied velcro to this to see if it stops the rattle and will report back!

Re: Dashboard rattle...
Did you ever get to the bottom of this as my car has the same. There is a smooth piece of plastic trim near the steering column that appears to be unsecured on the left hand side. There appears to be holes for screws (haven't had a proper look) but there obviously aren't any. I'm going to take mine back to the dealers for a paint issue but wondered if you got this sorted yourself?

I have a rattle too but I have narrowed in down to the windscreen wipers as it seems to disappear when you turn them on.

Dealer fixed. It was simply loose at the left hand side, where it clips in (no screws), the mech. removed the screws (x2) on the right hand side and then re-fitted. Job done.ONtheROCs wrote:Did you ever get to the bottom of this as my car has the same. I have a problem with my Dashboard. We took it to be covered. When it came, The guy who took it out forgot to mark the screws. I am now putting it together and now the issue I have is that I can't work out where they go. I need a proper diagram with photos
