What ACC mode do you drive in most?

Yo guys just interested (not sure done already) so sorry if it has.
But what ACC mode, do you drive around most in, and what differences do you see most in ie;acceleration grip fuel consump etc etc.
You know just a general chat.
I drive mostly around in normal, havent really properly (given time) tried the others
Just your thoughts guys

I drive in normal most of the time.
I use comfort for the motorway and sport when I'm on a cross country drive.

There's definitely a noticeable difference. The car rides stiffer and has more feel in sport. Comfort is definitely more floaty and easy going for the motorway. Normal seems fine for most...er... normal driving. Commuting etc.

I don't think they have any affect on mpg.

In Normal and leave it to adapt across the range as it seems fairly quick at doing the change.

I use normal most of the time. Comfort on motorways or really bad roads. Sport on my favourite roads and country roads.

Same here.

Also, I'm still suffering the hangover from using coilovers for 10 yrs on my previous cars. Sport seems almost too comfy to me

Comfort for motorways and sport when I want to 'drive' the car. Not really used the standard / normal setting much so far. Probably will for the winter months, as sport does give you a heavy right foot, not so good for the slippery wet / damp roads. Compared to my previous car (Celica T Sport), every mode seems to offer more comfort!

Comfort for speedbumps and particularly rubbish road surfaces, normal for, well normal roads and sport for, again, well sport - it does what it says on the tin I guess, lol

Comfort for 95% of the time (lots of motorway and crawling into Manchester to work). 5% in sport for when I want a blast. Not even tried Normal. That's because I'm not

At the moment, spending a lot of time in comfort mode, as softer seems to be better for driving on the icy roads in 'Ampshire!

I pretty much leave mine in sport. As mentioned above I don't like the steering feel in comfort. I have never ever used normal in the year I have had it. Maybe I should try it!

well after 250 miles of driving "Redroc" I have worked out Comfort for motorway, Sport for solo driving off motorway and Normal for off motorway driving when being more sensible with passengers in the car.

I switch quite frequently (it helps having the button on the correct side of the gear stick). I live in surrey, where I should really be driving a moon buggy through some of the craters not a rocco! It's comfort most of the time around town and for speed bumps due to wheels and suspension changes. For me sport is for roundabouts and having fun. I've only used normal once or twice to improve steering weight and combat a vicious sidewind on the motorway when on standard springs. I used to find comfort very twitchy on the motorway which made it hard work but it'sfine now.

It's no coincidence that ACC is a 'standard' option for GTs sold in the UK. Our German friends know all about the appalling state of our road surfaces - otherwise Normal would be quite adequate for all situations.

Comfort is essential for slow speed negotiation of lunar craters which have opened up everywhere this winter (and won't be fixed for a lifetime as we go into our twilight 3rd World failed economy years) - and for motorway loping. I use Sport when I can and it really shows the 'Roc off as it was designed to be driven.
