Ok, in case you guys aren't yet aware, the RNS 510 V6 maps are now available from VW for purchase.
I've played around with them, and after faffing about for a couple of days, I got hold of some Nov 2009 speed cam files (but in a format I couldn't use!)
After using Excel and writing a program a VBA program, I finally managed to convert them into various speed cam POI files, so now can have speedcams shown by speed limit!
These have 2008 Q4 maps in them (VW are far behind BMW on this one! but still much better than the 2007Q4 maps of the V4/V5 DVDs!)

Looks great, would like to get this on mine, because although i've never received any points i don't fancy doing so in any hurry.
My car is now for sale, for just £16,000, fair price so please no silly offers

I think it costs like £200! Really not worth that...
If you want it, it relativley easy to get hold of through places like vwnavi.com.
Still can't see any differences between V5 and V6...

You should be able to buy it from your local VW dealer, just ask the parts department. Expect to pay just under £200 though you can push them down a bit...pat15312 wrote:I think it costs like £200! Really not worth that...
