IMHO the flying caravan stuff was funny, the rest of the show boring. they could've shown this collection of ferrari, and instead of stratos the lancia that was the answer to M5.

I thought the lancia thing was a bit too long. I bet the company that makes the stratos replica wasn't pleased.
Last weeks electric car one was funny.

But I think there's a place on TV for a proper car review show. Group tests and single drives and news. It might not be 'entertaining' but it would be useful and factual. Supercars etc are great but sometimes you just want to know what a focus or a golf or a touran drives like.

With Fifth Gear supposedly being axed, TG doesn't have any competition any more.

I think this was the worst episode of TG ever. Extremely boring and long winded and how anyone can come to the conclusion that Lancia is the greatest manufacturer is beyond me. They can probably claim to have launched more ugly cars than any other manufacturer and they can certainly claim the fastest rotting cars of all time, but greatest!? The marina and the piano, yawn yawn, haven't we seen that before. At least the caravan on an airship was different, it was rather long winded but I guess they had to justify the cost.

Vote for the Greatest Car Make ever and we will ignore what you vote for and talk about what ever we fancy.
No Car News, B list celebs going round track in crap car, blowing up caravans. I still watch it every week but I have to say the show is going down hill.

the last series has been far better than the last, yes their are gimmicks and stunts and some old long running jokes, end of the day its the only thing i look forward to watching on a sunday, personally i dont really want to see a mundano or 4x4 road tested, buy a copy of What Car if you like that sort of thing :faint:

loved the airship, loved the lambo, really enjoyed the lancias given Delta Integrale is one my must own one day list along with a G60 and a E30 M3, really wanted to see Chris Evans Ferrari collection as have a soft spot for the 288GTO which is so overlooked due to the F40
