I was told the ordering for the R's are "pretty much full" and chances of getting 1 are slim, on a list of nearly 500 only about 5 people have yet received a comms number.
The guy on the phone required more information and had to phone my dealer before he could get back to me at which point i was thinking the dealer could have messed up here ...cue 15 mins of torture!
Then the phone rings and customer service tell me they have seen the list and i am guaranteed an allocation of an R, also i am quite near the top of the list which he seemed pretty excited about although i don't think think this means anything at all!
So there we have it, just waiting for a comms number. He couldnt commit to any build dates but did say it's usually done in 16 weeks.
The only other thing was the dealer just wrote on the bottom of the order about 19" wheels as it wasn't showing on the computer which i forgot to ask about but will make sure when i hear more about build allocations etc.
I am 1 of the 500 and am very very happy!
my order only went through yesterday. Took me so long to decide a colour. Its so much money for me I had to be sure, I went for blue but im still not sure I made the right decision, I think i should have gone for black 
He is getting quite nervous about those!
