The heating knobs look really rubbish, but at least its displayed on the Radio Screen.

How do the heated seats work in this new config?

Thanks

If you turn the knobs, you set the temperature.
If you press them, the seats start heating.

I might be asking a stupid question but for those that did not pick the 2 zone climate control option what are the changes that they should expect from the climate controls in cars built from wk 45 onward?

I think previously there was a 1-5 for each seat, and obviously the temp control for the A/C

So does that mean that:

a) the heated seats and A/C are using the same control
or
b) Its either On/Off for the heated seats?

Cheers

I'm not sure if you have 1-5 now, but it's definetely 1-3. You press the button once, you get 1. Again, you get 2,and again, you get 3. Once more and it's off. Hope I was clear enough. Someone who has the system should correct me if I'm mistaken.

Well I have just been told that I will be able to collect the car on Thursday - so will be able to take some pics and show you exactly what the changes are - I was hoping from that video that the silver had changed to gloss black but nevertheless it will be good to get it. Bored of having a PUG to drive around with no poke.

The gloss black panel is standard on the R. The rest of the models get the 'classic' silver panel.

Stupid question, but are the heated seats standard (on the GT spec) or an option?

You're entering a new glorious stage of life that I am hopefully going to join in a week or so!

VW are trying to make it difficult though as they only forward the what to do next info so late that if you're going with their finance you end up delaying collection further having to wait for everything to clear??? Why only forward days after UK arrival? Why not when it's on the boat??? GRGRGRGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHH

The new ac looks much better than the old one, but the old climatronic looks better than the new one.
Can you post a picture of the dials on the dash...I read that they have a black sorrounding, or something like that.
