I'm not a happy chappy....

Post by Drigbyy2k »

Ever since I ordered my roc I have been told by my salesman it will be here 26th November, an I have always said to him thats a bit precise isn't it. An he reassured me its correct. Anyway after reading on here about delivery times I thought I'd phone VW customer services this morning and see what they were sayin, well wish I hadn't, they said its at build week 50 just now and will be with me in the new year including vat increase. Contemplating cancelling now....

Drigbyy

speaking to my dealer at handover on saturday he said the build weeks are bouncing all over the place, there is still time for it to be pulled forward again. maybe go into the dealer, say what vw customer service have said to you & see what their response is.

I'm at work just now, so I gave ma dad a ring (as we sound similar) an he's goin to phone them an see whats doin. Thing that makes me most unhappy is that I added bi-xenons and winter pack 2 weeks ago and he said "your date hasn't moved, will still be here Nov 26th" liein toe-rag...

He also told me that Hawco Inverness are the oldest VW dealer in the Uk so get priority over other dealerships, god knows if this is true...

Considering phoning about and seeing if anywhere has a new viper green rocco waiting to be sold...

Well this is what my dealership have come back with, my salesman is not working today so it was another salesman. He admitted that the date 26th of November was actually build date not delivery date as my salesman had told me. An because I changed colour it can put it back 10 days or so. So really he's been tellin me I'll be getting the car the 26th November but thats actually build date (weather he's got confused or told me tales who knows). I wouldn't of been worried if he'd told me all along that was build date beacuse I wouldn't of been expecting the car to December then anyway. Just feel like i've been mislead...

Rant over....

Anyway they have said they'll honour the vat rise aslong as its just the 2.5% back to 17.5% vat. They said I would probably get car the week leading to christmas if it stays at build week 50  An theres every chance the build week will come forward as they said that happens a lot...

So on the plus side atleast I get the week 45 updates :)
