I may slap some more extras on now as i will have loads more money left.... Silver lining and all that :D
Get yourself the RNS510 DVD satnav, it's expensive but imho the best option by far!

You make it sound like she was a real financial drain!

That sounds a drain!

Oh, and now with only one house, maybe you can also afford the extra cost of running a petrol? :p

Oh, and whilst you're at it, if you drive in traffic a lot, get the DSG too. It also sounds a lot nicer when it changes gear :D

I have decided to stick with current config and just add Dynaudio !!

I did toy with the idea of going for the petrol 2.0......... but I know i'll be more than happy with the Tdi so........... That's that ! :D

I now await all your comments regarding engine choice lol :p

I'll take the bait :D

I used to have a 143bhp BMW 118d, and that engine is very similar to the 140tdi. I must say, although nice around town, it really doesn't feel or sound like a sporty car and lacks a bit in the high end :p

Personally, I'd say at least take a test drive in a 200bhp petrol if you haven't already, and then make up your mind :D
if you have already, then I rest my case and fair play to you!

Well usually i'd say yes i've test drove it to get people off my back, but truth is I haven't !!

I did have the Mk5 Gti Golf with that same engine, I think its slightly different in torque delivery (think I read it somewhere).

I'd like to go for the petrol but im going to stick with this for a bit..... Maybe I'll get the 'R' after !
