Post by Drigbyy2k »

Has anyone on here fitted aftermarket mudflaps (not the ones in the accessories brochure)??? If so what do you think and do you have any pics???

Like these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-MUDFLA ... 286.c0.m14" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Don't have them fitted but the Mk3 Dealer accessory one pick up on specific points in the when arches already having screw bolts fitted. The fronts do need a bit of drilling work.

The Ebay ones will need to get the "squared" U shaped clamps onto the bodywork securely. And the clamps will most like unsightly rust given time.

I have some universal rubber ones fitted. They are the same ones I fit to all my cars and just screw into the arch liner. I know some people on here don't like the look of them but it stops a lot of the dirt, tar and stone chips you would usually get along the side and on the back bumper. I actually quite like the look of them.....got a kind of rally look.
