Scirocco
– Needle design change on speedometer – additional black line around the outside of the needle.

– RNS 510 navigation system to include integrated voice control. For details of specification, see below.

The voice control is enabled by either the multi-function steering wheel or the head unit.
A choice of commands on the head unit will enable you to say what you want
The Navigation commands are: navigation, map, enter country, enter city, enter up to five digits of postcode, enter house number, enter junction, activate route guidance, stop route guidance.
The Radio commands are: channel (name), channel (number), frequency, next channel, previous channel, bandwidth, channel list, memory list.
CD commands are: CD, next CD, previous CD, title (number), next title, previous title

– 2.0 210PS, and 2.0 140PS TDI CR - visual gear change recommendation for manual gearboxes displayed in multifunction computer

– All trims - air-conditioning controls - change to design - see pictures a and b

I've just looked on the configurator & the bits & pieces are on there (they weren't at lunchtime) but state 'not available' on the scirocco or GT. (no rear camera)

oh & lookie lookie.. 'Unique 'R' sports suspension' 'LED daytime running lights set into bumper' 'Cherry Red rear light clusters'

– Automatic Distance Control (ADC) option with 'Front Assist' will become available for 1.8 TSI 160PS manual. The ADC maintains a pre-selected distance from the vehicle in front, automatically adjusting the speed. If another vehicle is detected in the lane in front of you, the system will intervene by reducing the speed of your vehicle and, if necessary, applying the brakes. The system will not bring your vehicle to a stop.

– Maritime Blue - end of production

– 1.6 TDI 105PS BlueMotion Technology - removal of lowered suspension at the front and rear

– BlueMotion Technology - new badges, see picture 6.

– A new BlueMotion engine with start-stop technology and reduced emission levels. Enhancement to current 1.6 TDI 105PS: new body kit gives even better economy and reduced emissions of just 114g/km. This means it has one of the lowest emissions in its class. Click here for details.

German Configurator now shows the new CC unit along with some new "individual" interior colour options which we probably wont get in the UK

Does anyone know if LED running lights (like those on the R model) will be another addition as part of the week 45 changes, even if you don't have xenons?

I read somewhere that from 2010 all cars produced in the EU will have to have them. Would be a nice finishing touch

Interesting. I've noticed on the UK VW website that LED's are now listed on the specification sheet, but a dash has been entered across scirocco specs, so I wonder if this is something theyre going to add in when they officially announce the Wk45 amendments. All I can do is hope, keeping fingers crossed...

There are a number of items like this which are specific to the R so probably just on the configurator in preperation for the addition of the R model.
