Guys, I collected my car a week ago and its pristine, apart from on the drivers side there is a dollop of paint hanging off slightly (it looks like the paint was drying and a bit run off). It kinda looks like a white haemorroid. Do I cut it off or leave it as it is?

Re: [split] Some Checks On New Car Collection
you wouldnt cut off a hemroid off your back side, lol.
was it raining or particularly dull when you collected it, cos you may have a shout with vw.
also, i typed in hemroid into google to see if i was spelling it right, and bam, pictures in the page, i feel sick.

Its a minor drop of dired up paint, about the size of a 5p coin, but its visible from the side. Is it worth asking the dealer about? It hangs off underneath the driver door side, in between the jack points. I could cut it off with some scissors but am worried about the remains, will it cause any problems?

Back to VW, paint defect, warranty, thanks.
Don't touch it, the minute you do they won't want to know.

It's just where the body has been flooded with anti-rust wax, which has dripped, then been painted over. Unless it really bothers you, personally, I'd leave it.
