Very nice, nice spec. Out of interest, how come you didnt go for the Xenons Aced? Looks like you've specced everything else!! I wish I'd gone for the 19's, they look awesome, and the 18's are a right pain to clean, especially when you're obsessive about brake dust!

didn't go for xenons because i just couldn't justify 1500 or what ever it was, also im not so keen on the way the bulb is alot smaller on the xenon, i do quite like the blue tinge to the light, so i might get some HIDS in the future, i've had them on a previous car and they were great.

Looking good on the 19s :)
I thought it might sit a little lower than that but I think you might find it drops a tiny bit as you bed it in.

I took out the tyre insurance and service plan with tyres included coz they are about £250 per tyre for the pirelli p zeros that are on there atm, so basically for £37 a month i don't have to pay for a service for the next 3 years including anything that needs to be done and if i bust i tyre or they get slashed i can get replacements for free :D seemed like a good deal to me

SCOTT - Yes, it includes replacement due to fair wear and tear (eg. When the tyres run out of recommended minimum tread)

youvebinaced - If you read the small print, the Tyres plan does not cover you for irrepairable punctures, nor if you bust one or if they get slashed.... Unless I have read it wrong. I have the same package.

Are you nuts???

Thats Over £1300 you're gonna pay for 'servicing and tyres' in 3 years.

It won't cost anything like that in reality!!!!

Depends on what "fair wear and tear" means... Use launch control a couple of time a day and you will definately need to change tyres more than once in 3 years.

- love the candy - love a lot of extras!

I was thinking the same thing. It's nearly £450 a year. Is it really going to cost that much for a new car for 3 years of expenses?

well i took out a different package that if anyone slashes my tyres or i get a blow out then i can get a replacement, my tyres cost 250 quid each so if i need 2 new tyres after 18 months or so thats 500 quid, and about 150 for a service plus anything that need doing say 50 quid for something minimal thats now cost me £700 for just 18 months, it's inevitable that they are going to find more things on a service in year 2 and 3 but if it just cost me 1500 then it's been worth it

Y without the tire insurance (ie including servicing cost, tire wear, consumables and mot after 3 years) it worked out at £15/month for me so the tire insurance adds a fair bit.

Can I just check you figures, Darkness - you are saying that for £180 per year for 3 years, (total £540) you get servicing, replacement tyres (when worn), consumables and one MOT.

I am guessing that there must be a restriction on mileage otherwise it is a very good deal. You may only get 15,000 out of each set of front tyres, depending how you drive, and each set of 18" front tyres could cost £300 depending on make, so you have covered yourself and get the servicing, consumables, etc. for free. Even on longlife service you are going to need one service in that timeframe and with long life oil that is not just the basic service cost. Does the servicing package also include breakdown cover?

Can you let me know what restrictions were are on the plan and do you get premium brand tyres or are they budget tyres.

I think the Darkness means they have taken out the service & maintenance package DGOT (knowing the prices I was quoted for the various options)

the servicing & maintenance package includes breakdown but from memory the servicing only package does not.

Hiya DGOT

I thought it was a good deal yep.

It replaces tires with same brand I believe, but dont quote me on that I'm just trying to recall what he said. It includes all consumables, servicing costs (3 services), tire wear (not punctures or valdalism) and the mot after year 3. And yes, it extends the breakdown cover to 3 years.

I'm not sure if its mileage restricted but I stated I would be doing ~5000. I'm guessing the price depends on your mileage.

I was originally quoted ~£13 for everything listed except the tire wear, but when he added tire wear it was so little extra I went for it, bringing total to £15.XX (cant recall the pence :) )

I did the maths like you - basically the three services were going to cost me 510 minimum, so ~540 seemed very good.

Cheers
