Does anyone know if you get an Ipod cable with the car?

it should come with the car when you collect it from the dealer, its one of those things they conveniently forget occassionally..

Far as I know you should be able to use the wheel controls. Trouble is I have the cable, just no iPod....

Ho hum, maybe Santa will bring one this year

Not sure about the steering wheel controls, but I know you can control it via the RNS510 head unit. Unfortunately, it is just as slow and cumbersome as music on the USB stick or HDD, so I personally just stick with a 16GB USB stick rather than use the iPod.

And yes, the dealer does forget, then fobs you off saying it doesn't come as standard - until you show them the line in the brochure which says the iPod lead is included...

The dealers always forget because the cable is supposed to come from the parts dept not with the car itself.

The wheel controls allow you to skip to the next/prev track, fastforward/rewind and do the volume. The current track shows up on the multifunction display on the dash. Unfortunately what you can't do is scroll/select the playlists on there. That's all done on the main touch screen.
