The Missus isn't going to approve......

Post by MrACD »

Well, I ordered it last friday, without consulting her in-doors......

I've been hinting at it and shown some piccies, she said 'nice, i hope you're not thinking of getting one'.....

Hmmmmm, what shall I do lol ?..... I couldn't raise the bottle to say, 'too late it's ordered' !! haha.

Anyone else have the same problem? or am i ultimately b**ch whipped

Ahhh well, too late!

Love it!

The one in-doors will prob complain about the colour choice also. For some reason ladies dont seem to like white until they see it in the flesh!

I know yeah! Most people say when I told them i've ordered white - 'WHITE, what u done that for?'........

I've seen a couple in the flesh and they are stunning.... Better looks than the TT imo, for 5-6k less!

Point out how it 'could' be a good investment, since there's such a long waiting list for them, you might be able to sell it at a profit!

About the insurance, just say you were trying to save money by only having yourself on it (and stick her name down, and forget to tell her if it reduces your premium :D )

I may just text it her in the morning and at least she may calm down by the evening when we get in from work...

Not going to work is it! :shake:

Suggest you take her on a test drive in a Chevrolet or a Hyundai ensuring you enthuse all the time on what good cars they are- after this she will be ecstatic when the Roc gets delivered!!

LCM: Off topic - 400NM and 6 speed DSG is not a good combination. That box is rated for 350NM, hope it lasts.

Why don't you pay for her to go off on a short weekend at the right time. When she returns you'll have a new car on the driveway :D
