So what does a Scirocco owner do for a living then?

Every site needs an off topic forum, right?

So what does a Scirocco owner do for a living then?

Post by Deacon »

Thought it'd be interesting to see what we all do to afford our 'roc's.

Mines quite boring (although the job itself isn't!) - I'm a teacher in a high school.

So what do the rest of you do then?

You have to tell us more Kev, I'm sure I'm not the only one with an image of you in a white coat running round a lab perfecting your Frankenstein's monster / Dr Jekyl potion / teleporter / etc! :)

Yes I do have a white coat. I've got it on right now :)

I co-run a cell sorting facility in a research institute. We can take mixtures of cell types and separate out the ones we want (such as stem cells or lymphocytes) so the other researchers can continue their work without a mixture of things getting in the way. I also do DNA sequencing and did some of the human genome project a few years ago. Now I just do regular sequencing for the labs here. I do a bit of IT as well. I'm trying to get our website remade as the one we have is a shocker! Bit of a jack of all trades :)
