Price rise?
Apparently VW have said they are going to have to raise prices before the end of the year due to the increasing cost of materials, particularly steel.
I wonder how much it will bump up the basic price.

I am not surpised to see things like this happening though surely they will only do this is the competition does it as well.
Good thing I have my order in already.

Re: Price rise?
Someone told me there was a price rise due today. Looks like it hasn't materialised.
Re: Price rise?
Yep, I was told by the dealer that the price was going up by £400 in November. This was at the end of September.

My dealer told me on Saturday the price was going up "next week", he's holding my order price for another day or 2 but not til end of week.

Re: Price rise?
This is only good news for those of us who have already taken delivery, or already have a car on order.
It can only up the value of our cars!
Put the prices up by £4000, not £400 I say…

According to my dealer price rise came into effect on Monday. All prices up by 1.5%, £314 on a standard 2.0ltr GT.
