Available 'Rocs?

Post by ammo23 »

Hi guys (&girls),

I'm new here so please take it easy on me!!

I'm currently trying to source a Scirocco GT TDI that I could get a PCH/contract lease on, and wondered if anyone could suggest a company or garage that they know have available stock...No doubt I'm not the only person doing this at the moment, it's impossible to find one

I've had a browse round the forum - keep up the good work admin & users :D

Welcome! :D

Any VW dealer can get you a car from vw central stock or even from other dealers if they have the customer.

Hope this helps, Chris.

2.0 GT TDI 170 Manual in White with 19" Lugano £22,700, 25 miles on the clock. Registered Jul09.

Des Winks VW, Yorkshire 01723 580 058.

There is one white 140 bhp TDI on the VW net, but it's DSG and a lot of money £24k+. If you are looking to lease the car most companies will only consider providing finance for a car sourced from a dealer. As per other peoples comments, your local dealer will be able to access a list of VW central stock via there computer system. You may want to consider broadening your colour choice if speed is your main criteria.

Give VW a try with the finance, generally there solutions packages are expensive compared to other products on the market. Most people take these packages simply for convenience. Ideally use an independant source for the best lease deals, try car-finance.net / broker4cars or similar.

(5 yr HP, £1000 dep, £424 pm 10K Mpa 6.7% apr) or (4 yr PCP deal £1000 dep, £389, 10K Mpa 9.4% apr)

Discounts of upto £2000 can be had from Brokers or even dealers in some cases if you are in a position to wait. Unfortunately for prospective buyers demand is outstripping supply and the dealers know this. Broker4cars can offer you a big discount on a new car and a great finance package to go with it. Broadspeed also offer great discounts as do others. Best of luck.
08/11 - 12/13 2.0 TSI R DSG, Black / Black Vienna
01/09 - 08/11 2.0 TSI GT DSG, Black / Truffle Vienna

Black is the new Black....

Thanks for your replies...

You'd think my local VW dealer would be helpful...but to my disappointment they've not been very good at all. I was actually told the car I was interested in was sold...only to get a call from another salesman asking if I was coming to see it!! I couldnt believe they got something like that so wrong :(

I've also found that my local dealers dont seem interested as soon as I mention wanting a lease/Business contract hire. They all want to offer me a PCP and want £1k down and £493 a month!!! Obviously that wasnt for a bog standard car.

Good new is I've now found an online leasing company that has two in stock (where as everywhere else is quoting a Nov/Dec/Jan10 delivery!) Yes, im impatient!!

Well I started this morning off by finding out that my application for finance (for a lease) had been accepted, only to be told that the two 'in stock cars' were no longer available  By lunch time I'd been contacted by another company who told me they had a cancelled order which I could possibly have, but would have to wait until tomorrow to find out, as somehow the car had been held for another customer (which I found totally off, since I'd already lost two vehicles becasue I was told they werent allowed to hold a car!) Anyway, I spoke to the company that had lost the first cars...explained that I'd like my finance application number as another company has a car for me & they will use my approved application (using the same finance company). Then things started to get interesting!! The lady from the first company asked me about this available cancelled order...Half an hour later she calls me back to say she's located it and can process the order NOW!

So I finally got hold of one today, and got a great deal...or so I think. Bare in mind I only wanted to lease, I've got a Candy White GT TDI with parking sensors for £249.99pm :D I get a delivery date tomorrow, but I was told to expect it early next month. Quite excited now!

Sorry to bore you all with the long'ish story of events!

You assume correct  that is plus VAT. I still think it is a very good price for such a sought after car?
Certainly a step in the right direction from my point of veiw, having to sell my Z4 a couple of yrs ago to replace it with a Fiesta Zetec-S tdci...I needed to find something that will satisfy my wants for style with some added comfort :D
