Does the 7-Speed DSG have LC?

Well, the subject is pretty straightforward =)

As you folks know, if you order a 1.4 TSI Scirocco with DSG transmission, you get the new 7-spd one instead of the old 6-spd one.

The 6-spd one used to have Launch Control ability. You shift the gear into Sport, press the brake pedal with your left foot while pressing the throttle with your right foot. The revs stay around 2.000 rpms and off you go with the release of the brake...

Does the new DSG also have this?

I'm afraid to try it out since the new DSG is fragile, I can simply destroy it if it doesn't have the LC function.

I don't think its the 1.4tsi's that have launch control only 2.0
