Thanks Trix & Kev for the well wishes.

Yes everything was there including the iPod cable. Love it Love it Love it! Except for one thing....

I was promised that the DRL's would be turned off, they weren't. However after all the positive feedback here regarding the user manual instructions now turning them off on MY2010 cars I really wasn't fussed, much more interested in getting away from the showroom for my first gentle drive. Anyway I've now tried the 'pull back, hold down, ignition on' technique and it didn't work! Arrgghh.

Guess I'll just have to look like a muppet for a few days till it's sorted but it's nowhere near serious enough to wipe the daft grin from my face :hyper:

Oh, first pic.....

Thanks Trix,

Can't get off the computer sadly. The company is mine and my partner's (on-line cookware) and we need the business to pay for the car! Need any new pans? :yummy:

your Pewter grey looks like it could be teflon coated like your pans! Maybe stick a big red dot in the middle of the roof so you know when it's hot enough?

or perhaps its time i took my medication.......

Spiney... The indicator stark WILL work... but takes a few attempts. I got so used to it now that i turn DRL on and off depending on weather (i.e - only every turn them off when its brite sunshine.. but in the last week with all the rain I have left them on).

You need to make sure lights are in the '0' position and NOT in Auto.

Pull indicators down and toward yourself and hold there. Then put foot on clutch and key into ignition and turn (but dont start the car). hold everything in that position untill you hear a bleep (about 3-4 seconds). its done. To turn DRL back on do exactly the same but indicate up and toward yourself.

Enjoy though... great car

Many thanks for the help with this. I did solve it last night though

Can't be sure whether the light switch was at 0 or not but it worked after I changed the sequence. Instead of pull back then down then ignition on I tried down then back then ignition on. This worked first time. Definitely did not need the clutch in however.

When I'm feeling brave I might turn them back on just to prove it once and for all. For now I'm quitting while I'm ahead! My guess is that the sequence actualy made no difference and it's your info about the position of the light switch (not mentioned in the manual) that caused the original problems.

oh well at least you got it going..... I think once you find a method that works you stick with it.... like me having the clutch down!

defiantly not an exact science though as made out in the manual.
