I've now had my car 6 days, I love it to bits, but today at lunchtime DISASTER struck.

Either torn my cruciate ligament, or fractured my kneecap. I'm going to be in a full leg cast for 6 weeks

Unlucky mate Maybe you should get them to set the leg cast to '3000 rpm max position' then you can run her in whilst on the mend

no problem, stick one end of one of your crutches on the accelerator pedal, and put it under your chin...lean forward to accelerate.

Apparently the X-ray didn't show up any breaks, but there is blood and fat under my patella, which apparently is the type of swelling consistent with a broken bone. However I also had symptoms of a torn cruciate ligament, so I've got to have an MRI scan to find out exactly what it is.
