Post by Rocketron30 »

I’ve just installed under door puddle lights. Connected to terminals 18&19 as recommended on various “to do” videos . It says that you have to activate them by accessing the accessory? Menu on the canbus. I purchased a OBD2 BLUETOOTH unit ( only to find you can look but can’t alter anything unless I pay ,free trial advertised but once you’ve bought it ,pay) anyhow, I’ve looked but can’t find puddle lights listed, does anyone know if this option is available on my car (as scirocco GT Bluemotn tech TDI.Has anyone got any knowledge anthis topic, thank you in anticipation Rocket.

Not sure if you fixed your problem but I did it to mine few years ago and iv got a 09 GT TDi but I used vcds to do it had no problems at all worked right away. So yeah you should be able to do it. I used AliExpress vcds no problems at all using it and iv done quite a bit and fixed a few faults with it as well.
