Does the 2008 - 14 Sequential/rolling taillights work on a 16 plate?

Not sure if this question has been asked before but I got a 2016 Scirocco and really want my rear taillights to have that rolling affect for my indicators. The only ones I see online says it is compatible for 08 - 14 models but nothing suggests they wouldn't work and I can't find the version for 2014 and above.

Would kindly appreciate some guidance here before I fork out £400

I don’t know the answer to the actual question but you could
Ask the seller the question… that way if they say yes it does and when you get them, they don’t then you can send them back as they do not function as described.
