Anybody know where I find the comfort control module so can find correct part no I need. My central locking is not working & have been to auto electrics garage and been told this is what I need replacing!! The garage/VW will not provide me with part no!!!

Where is the location of the comfort control module . Did you have any luck finding it mate as I’m struggling to find it myself

On lhd Its above the relay carier.
Behind that little drawer in the dash.
3 big connectors go in from the bottom.

Was this actually a comfort module after all?
I’ve found if your ignition barrel is sticking when you pull out the key and you don’t hear the steering lock being applied, I cannot lock the vehicle nor get into the boot. If I push the key back into the ignition and turn it on then sort of make an exaggerated switch off motion ensuring that the key is fully off befire pulling it out, the lock pops out, steering lock gets applied then I can lock the car and open the boot.🤷🏻‍♂️
