Cruise Control

Is there a common failure of the CC switch stalk? I used it once, and it hasn't worked since. No dash light when I try to enable the CC.

Are you sure it has ever worked?
Some models didn’t come with cruise control as it was an optional extra.
Some people add just the stalk and hope it works but obviously it won’t.
I can’t remember the exact dates but from memory it was at some point in 2010 they changed the cruise control system so early models have just the cruise control on just the left hand stalk, newer models have the the whole stalk unit plus clock spring (stalk unit for both indicators and wipers) and there are only certain variants that work.
Then it needs to be coded.
If you are 100% sure it has worked may be worth checking if there is any codes as sometimes could be something as simple as a faulty brake light / clutch pedal switch.
Hope this helps 😊

I'm sure it worked once, because I couldn't cancel the setting until i touched the brake pedal.

I was fixated on the switch, so I didn't look for codes. Something to try.
