Do you have the part number and wiring diagram to install the TPMS on the scirocco?

Heating element are front seat elements. Climatronic panel for rear seats is from chineese Passat B7 long version. Cover I 3D printed myself.

Since as a new member of this forum I'm unable to send direct message, I thought that maybe writing here will be appropiate and helpful for others in future. As I'm seeing that you sucessfully changed steering wheel and instrument cluster for example, what should I look at to buy additionaly for this? Let's say I would like a newer steering wheel, because my current in my Scirocco is that from MK5. I would like one that came in newer Scirocco's or even a MK7 (somewhat cheaper everywhere than MK6). Both pictured here. As far as I understand I need some module to change? I already have cable and VCDS. Also, I'm using aftermarker radio with android that supports programming steering wheel buttons via CAN. So the only need for having SW communicating with car is for MFD on screen between gauges, right?

The same question applies for instrument cluster. Currently I have that one with red/orange screen in the middle, would like to swap for that with black/white screen. Just coding via VCDS or again, a need for changing some module?

Thanks in advance and hats off for all you have done to your Rocco :)

MK7 and Scirocco facelift steering wheel are the same, only scirocco never has cruise controll on steering wheel. You can use a MK7 Steering wheel without cruise controll, only lights up white not red, you can solder red leds ore change 5G0 buttons to 1K8 buttons.

MK5 sciroccos use 1K0 Steering module, get 1K0 steering module CH and the buttons will work on the facelift steering wheel, for light you need to solder a brige on the buttons pcb. You can search online for MK5/6 -> MK7 steering wheel. there is a lot from golf that you can copy to scirocco.

ore you change your 1K0 steering module to 5K0 steering module, then new steering wheel is plug and play, no soldering for light needed.

Cluster youe need adapter from MK5 to Mk6 Cluster and someone that can transfare your immo and millage data from old to new cluster.
you can not swap clusters with VCDS, need special tools to tranfere immo, VIN and millage.

Thank you very much for response.
I have prelift Scirocco (2008), with MK5 MFSW and SW part number: 1K0 953 549 BS.
On RossTech site I can see that BS supports Cruise Control, Board Computer, MFSW, and no steering angle sensor (but I think that's actually wrong, because I have aftermarket android headunit, and when I reverse and rotate steering wheel, helping lines change direction)

So to summarize:
If I would like MK6 SW (pictured as first in my post above), I just need a steering wheel and any 5K0 steering module, and if I don't want to solder, then a 1K0 CH module?

And if I want MK7 SW I need to search for golf 6 facelift steering wheel and then again, either 5K0 or 1K0 CH module?

MK5 golf has steering angle sensor on steering wheel module. MK6 has it inside the steering rack not on the steering wheel. I dont know what version scirocco has, becaus sciroccos from 2008 are in the mk6 version of technologiy with mk5 styling interiors.

change steering module to 5K0 953 549 with a index that fit your car with CCs ore not
ore change to 5k0 953 569 with a index that fit your car with CCs ore not.

569 can do more stuff like seperat lever CCs from passat.

with 5K0 steering moduke the steering wheel is plug and play.

with 1K0 you need a module that support LIN 2.0, then the buttons work, but light will not, need to solder a brige on the buttons board to have the buttons light up, look a few pages here, there is a picture.

search for MK5/6 with MK7 steering wheel, there is a lot on the internet on how to do it

So, I need either 5K0 953 549 or 5k0 953 569,
then I need 1K0 that supports LIN 2.0 (so CH for example)
and then a steering wheel?

I've bought original Scirocco MK7 style steering wheel (so still based on LIN2.0). I also bought CD module (as my BS also don't have steering angle sensor, so it was way cheaper than CH). Do i still need to solder for red backlit as this is OEM Scirocco facelift steering wheel?

if you use 1k0 module need to wire the bride for backlight.

Facelift scirocco only had 5k0 not 1k0

Current status is that I've bought Scirocco DSG MK7 look-a-like steering wheel with buttons, and airbag from Golf VII, and a CD module. Coded it properly for LIN 2.0, automatic transmission etc, so CSS, paddle shifters, all other buttons works, no errors in VCDS whatsoever. Soldered two wires on left buttons so red backlit works now. But there's one thing that doesn't work - horn. I have read that this might be a problem with PQ25/MQB platform incompatibility in airbag loom, so now my choices are to resolder those wires for PQ25 or just change loom/airbag from other MK7 look-a-like car (polo, scirocco for example)? Just making sure because maybe there is a chance that I could fix that with VCDS in a way I'm not aware of yet.

two types of horn activation.

Horn Switch connect to buttons and Horn signal is send over Lin to the steering module

or

Horn switch direktly conneconnected inside the yellow airbag plug.

I never remember whats right for 1k0. You have to "only" change the wire from yelow plug to buttons or from buttons to yellow plug

Hello! I want to know about the image change on the display (yellow dots).

I put version 2, in the display depiction channel of module 17, but it does not change. The yellow stripe always remains. What could be wrong? My tachometer is in color and 3D.
