Gt tdi 170 , Noticed today that on a couple of occasions my car is continuing on after taking my foot off the accelerator
It’s not over revving , not driving it whilst it’s doing this but wondering if anyone has had similar? Hoping to get it plugged in at the weekend

That is normal with dsg, it will coast when you lift the accelerator pedal completely.

Hi it’s a manual although I have read it can be like this with diesel due to the torque settings?
I’m sure one of my golfs used to do this

If you let it in gear it will just slowly come to a stop.
In neutral it will slow down even less fast.
Also the road gradiënt is a big factor, if you are running down a slope my engine is sometimes stationary and needs to engage the brakes to not overspeed.
