Fault Code P2015 / Intake Mnaifold Issue - 2010 Rocco TSI

Post by Hobbsy »

Hi guys, was looking to get some advice thanks, recently purchased a 2010 VW Scirocco 2.0L TSI with 58K Miles on the clock.

Car ran absolutely fine for the first 200 miles but all of a sudden ive got the P2015 / VW Error Code 08213 Pop up on the dashboard. :(

Have looked around and it seems the VW 2.0 TSI engine has a recurrent issue with the intake manifold on numerous cars that have this engine.

Anybody have any experience with this?

I am located in Berkshire / Buckinghamshire Side and was hoping to get some directions towards a good garage that can look into / repair this / most likely replace the whole manifold.

Also how much does it typically cost? I understand its quite a labour intensive process hence not cheap! But having just invested 9k in buying the car, dont fancy being stung too hard after only owning it 5 days haha. :fall:

Thanks very much for your time, I appreciate any replies / wisdom people may be able to impart here :)

Had the same issue on mine, ended up getting a genuine whole manifold and getting it replaced about two years ago, been perfect since. Cost around £500 for the manifold and fitting as it is a time consuming job. You can get copy manifolds from eBay but didn't want the risk of it failing when its a big job to change.

Hi all
I'm new to this forum and I'm having the same issue I think?? I've got 2009 gt 2.0 tsi and I've had it checked by a garage that really good but they can't find any faults with the manifold whatsoever? Half a tank gets me around 80-90miles ?any suggestions what it could be TIA

Hi there.

I bought my tsi rocco 6 months ago and everything was fine to begin with then the dreaded p2015 came up. So I asked a side garage to inspect and they changed the sensor. No even 5 miles down the road and it came back on. Unfortunately your will have to replace the intake manifold for the new version. I took mine to the pros VW. £1100 LATER it runs like a dream. Worth every penny.

Hi all,

Anyone had any thought about sourcing the part online to replace? Around £600+VAT for the replacement part seems like daylight robbery to me!?

Found another post on this topic on here and a few people referenced this replacement part: https://www.europaparts.com/intake-mani ... 201bh.html

Old post here: viewtopic.php?p=218610&hilit=intake+manifold#p218610

Wondering whether anyone more recently than 2016 has had any issues/success with a job like this?

Thanks in advance!
