Hi all

I was chatting to my local garage, not the garage i have purchased my car from, the sales manager out the blue and off the subject we were on told me they had a drag between the scirocco and vw golf pirelli on the dual carriage way outside the dealership, apparantly the scirrocco kicked arse and left the pirelli eating dirt.

The scirroco i`m afraid to say is in a different league compared to the old obselete golf

regards

i know out of the two which keys i pick up every morning and its the scirocco and will continue to do so, on all types of roads its amazing, now the brakes and tyres are bedded in can begin to exploit it but not top end power and after audi ride quality a revelation, for that i forgive the ac controls, would be nice to see a few more on the roads :)

Just to clarify on what i am aware of the standard GTI does 0-60 almost 1 sec faster the Pirelli is running 30 Bhp more than that and has a better setup, I love my car but that is some sales talk lol maybe if I ask Honda if they have a tear up with a Jazz and and S2000 if the Jazz gave the s2k a seeing too lol :D ;)

I find that hard to believe given the difference in available power..and remember lieing is second nature to salesman.
