RNS315 Bluetooth audio : Samsung Phone

Hi, I picked up a 2014 R-Line on Friday which so far is a lovely car, however I'm having an issue with the bluetooth audio on the RNS315 .
The first time i paired the phone everything seemed to be fine. It found the phone, imported my contacts etc.. Went into the BT settings on my phone turned on phone, audio and contacts. All good, music plays.
Turned off the car, and then started it back up again, phone connects fine but bluetooth audio is now not working, the BT audio option in the BT settings on the phone just turns back off if you try enabling it.
If i unpair the phone and do the whole process all over again, the bluetooth audio works until the car is turned off again.
Obviously cant keep doing this every time I want to play music....I could swap out the unit for a new one but then I'm not sure what ill lose in the way on on screen displays etc...

any ideas ?

HI Andy,

Nice to hear that you picked up an R-Line, hope you are having fun with it.

I had the same issue with the RNS315, the BT unit is outdated. Therefor I suggest that you get a new stereo, the RCD 330. Comes with Apple Play, AndroidCar & Bluetooth and works perfectly. I'm have been using it for 3 years and no issues at all.

Its a lovely car, really pleased with it.
I went and got a new stereo fitted over the weekend, got to say im much happier with it and it looks so good in the car !
