Open Module 76 – Park Assist:

Electronics 1 | 76 - Park Assist

Then select Coding – 07 and enable Bit 4 of Byte 0 (with correct labels you can Enable "Optical Illustration active"):

Optical Illustration Active

Then goto Byte 2 and select the correct Model:

First 3 Bytes in 5F ( Composition/Discover Media)

can you explain how to remove the component protection on a car that didn't have it from factory as i am striking out i have a vcds and am able to reset the radio through the address 5f but the dealer said odis 5f was grayed out

I have a few questions about this process after you coded the radio in your friends caddy did the component protection ever come back and do you know how they coded it in you friends caddy was it coded to your sciroccos vin number and how much did it cost to activate everything?

if car belong to Component protection remove online - dealer can do that easy
if not (older cars) - CP can be remove permanent from radio
not a big deal now

I also put a Discover Media PQ (to replace my RNS315) a few days ago but the microphone no longer works?
Is there an adaptation to be made on the original harness or simply coding?

J'ai la camera de recul (d'origine) pour RNS315, j'ai donc commander cette adaptateur :
