different shaped buttons & displaying the ACC setting on MFD
I was driving the Passat CC again the other day, but this time in GT form with ACC.
Two things I noticed were that the ACC button is much easier to see and closer to the driver.
On the scirocco this can really be fixedby moving some of the blanking pltes and buttons over but its a ball ache to do. Ideally i'd want ACC to th furthest right hand position and ESP next to it on the left, followed by tire pressure monitor... Does anybody know if its possible to get the buttos in different shaps so that they can be moved?
Also, when you press the ACC button on the passat CC, it shows you what setting your in on the MFD. This is quite handy because if its bright sunlight, it can be quite difficult to see which setting is illuminated on the button. See the video below to see what i'm nattering on about.
I can't seem to get embedded video to work... try this link:

I agree, the needle sweep is very cool, is this something you can do with vag com? or is it standard. I havent got my scirocco yet, so am just wondering.

Hi guys
The MFD does display the DCC mode when you change it on the 2010 model, which is nice , but it doesn't do the needle sweep I'm afraid

oh 2010 year change feature... wank...
why couldnt it just have been 2010 model to start with!!! arghh
oh well i'll get over it...
anyways check this picture below out! they have moved the esp and acc buttons! you must be able to get different shaped buttons from VW as they've been made already? i imaging this mus be for different countries.

Have they actually moved the buttons, or it this another "can't be bothered to photograph a RHD, lets just photoshop a LHD" issue?
Plus, look closely, clearly the guys taking the photo hate DRL's as well, they've deliberately switched to side-lights.....
Yes, I know, must get out more

oh course its not photoshop... otherwise the pedals and time indicator would be the wrong way round... right?JohnC wrote:Have they actually moved the buttons, or it this another "can't be bothered to photograph a RHD, lets just photoshop a LHD" issue?
