Smoke when idling

Hey, does any one else's R Smoke on idle, its not billowing out like a chimney but might be condensation only it doesn't ever seem to go away, always most apparent on idle. Thrashed it today and didnt notice anything coming out the exhaust at higher rpm, oil & coolant don't seem to be getting lower either. Is this a characteristic of this engine?

Yes, I had that on my GTI, have it on my Scirocco R also, but only after mods. Was asking myself if that is normal. Do you have straight pipe?

Car was sold as standard but found after afterwards it has been tuned to 350hp... the tuner said its almost certain other mods have been done, he assumed a downpipe.. but I don't really know. Exhaust isnt that loud so assuming the rest of that is standard.
Maybe its just the tune..
