Bought completely standard, Current spec:

DIY K04-064 conversion
Ebay 3" downpipe
Remapped by myself using WinOLS to 1bar, will raise the boost once I build a 3" exhaust and custom intake

Will get some more pictures up of the turbo conversion when i have time!

So the diy no aluminium welder needed k04 conversion, started off cutting the outlet pipe because this hits the block

Then ground it down until a 2" silicone pipe was able to fit

Welded up a new turbo outlet pipe to replace the standard pancake pipe

Turbo has done 4,000 miles without any issues so far

Looking good! Not seen any DIY of this kind yet myself. I could with the pancake pipe replacing. I got the Forge ally pipes but they are for K03 and havnt got round to sorting the left over pipe to fit the K04.
